LEGAL INFORMATION

Marriages within Australia require:

 Bride and groom must be over the age of 18 years.

“Australian Form Number 13” – NOTICE OF INTENDED MARRIAGE must be obtained from Australian Consulate.

Notice must be given one month and one day prior to the intended marriage. The marriage celebrant or Australian Consulate Office will advise this procedure.

You will need to provide to the Celebrant a current passport and birth certificate. If clients are Australian citizens living overseas, a birth certificate and proof of Australian citizenship is required.
